God calls the most unlikely people to follow Him, often choosing the ones who aren’t the smartest, strongest, or richest. God chooses the Clark Kents instead of the Supermen and then turns the Clark Kents into Supermen.
Gideon was the youngest from the “least” tribe and yet God turned him into a warrior and deliverer.
David was a lowly shepherd turned into giant-slayer and king.
Fishermen became fishers of men and turned the world upside down.
God’s view is opposite of the world-view. With God, the least becomes the greatest, and the last becomes the first. Jesus sacrificed His life to give new life to all who believe, and Christians exchange their lives to become new creations—sons and daughters of The King of kings.
You aren’t what others have said about you, you aren’t a label, your true identity is God’s child. As His child, you have the power of God within you to change you into what He created you to be. For nothing is impossible for God.
Are you staying a Clark Kent, or will you embrace your true identity and live in God’s power? As for me? I want to fly!
Join me? Let’s fly!
“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” ~ 1 Corinthians 1:27-28 (NASB), Ephesians 3:20-21 (NASB)
