Who you know
Have you ever thought… if only that person would notice me (help me, care about me, provide for me, love me…), then I would be happy (successful, have the money needed, get the job I want, have my problems solved…).
It’s so easy to think people will provide the answers to our problems; that someone, anyone, will come through with the money needed, or the connection we need to be properly connected.
Someone needs to know, someone needs to remember, and that someone is me.
Wherever you are, God knows.
Whatever circumstance you are in, God knows.
Whatever need you need, God knows.
It’s not who you know, but WHO you know.
God – The One who knows you best and always knows where you are, He has every resource for every provision and every need.
Cease striving, know that I am God. I know what you need before you ask Me. I’ve set apart the faithful servant for Myself; I hear you when you call. I will supply all your needs…. (Psalm 46:10, Matthew 6:8, Psalm 4:3, Philippians 4:19)
“Surely you know. Surely you have heard. The Lord is the God who lives forever, who created all the world. He does not become tired or need to rest. No one can understand how great his wisdom is. He gives strength to those who are tired and more power to those who are weak. Even children become tired and need to rest, and young people trip and fall. But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky; they will run and not need rest; they will walk and not become tired.” ~ Isaiah 40:28-31 (NCV)
“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you” ~ Psalm 9:10 (NIV)
