Happy Re-New Year!
Reflecting back, I’ve been pondering the bumpy road called life. I’m amazed at the remarkable things accomplished by God. Every turn and twist through this wild journey has led to a bevy of words beginning in “re”.
Recounting God’s goodness, I remember how He gives relief during times of difficulties bringing reprieves when most needed. Reflecting on those we have lost to death, yet rejoice that we will be reunited. God has retooled my thinking about trials as He renewed, restored, and repaired what the enemy meant for evil.
With reverence I marvel at rebirth through our Savior. When we repent, our lives are restored through the remission and removal of our sins. He refurbishes souls with His grace. God gently reminds us to refocus our thoughts on His remarkable greatness instead of our problems. He is our refuge and rescuer. With His help, we can resist Satan.
With God’s touch, we are revamped, recreated, rectified, redeemed, refined, refreshed, rehabilitated, reinvigorated, and no longer rejected. God’s love, grace, and mercy remakes us, gently recreating us into the image of His wonderful Son. In those truths, we can relax in His hands, relying on Him, and relishing the fact we are forever loved.
