Do you know the TRUTH about Homosexuality?

This topic has sparked controversy …

mass protests, and changes in the judicial system; boycotting of restaurants, hate crimes and countless scenarios in the World. I believe in “Traditional Marriage”; supporting “one man and one woman”; standing upon the biblical definition of the family unit.

We all have our own thoughts, opinions, and ideas on what we believe and regard as truth. Unfortunately, critical problems are created because we twist truth or refuse to accept it. One can argue what the truth is; but it’s clearly written in the Bible; “Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.” (Proverbs 30:5)  “Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.” (John 17:17)

“If we would all live up to and agree upon the truth;
the World would be a better place.”
– Brooke Lynn –

People claim that homosexuals aren’t hurting anyone and we should leave them alone. While in fact, homosexuality IS harming society. It insists it’s right and acceptable; teaching immoral living and rationalization. Homosexuality strives for “equal rights”. It wants something that’s wrong to be recognized as right and gain rewards for it.

If we want to live without morals …

truth, justice, integrity and honesty; that’s living the way the enemy of our soul suggests. But as Christians we are called to live according to God’s ways; having morals, integrity and values lining up with the word of God. In fact, the truth is that as Christians we do need to love everyone; but loving someone doesn’t mean we have to accept their sinful ways. And the issues with homosexuality aren’t always a matter of love; the real opposition is in regards to what’s right or wrong.

Some truly miss the mark when they claim love and all the goodness of Christ; but disregard the obedience, sacrifice, dedication and adhering to his commandments. God doesn’t waiver or make exceptions to his word. He doesn’t change his mind to what he defines as sin. The word of God clearly states that homosexuality is an abomination. “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22) and also know that the bible says homosexuals will not enter into Heaven. ”Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people–none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

The word of God never changes …

people are the ones who waiver and doubt in their beliefs and this shift in integrity has impacted society, creating a culture who will now accept anything as tolerable!
Did you notice the list of sins included in the scripture above? It also says those who commit adultery won’t inherit the Kingdom of God. Personally, this is extremely frightening! It was only ten years ago I was having an affair and I cringe while considering what could’ve happened to me had I continued living that lifestyle. I’m extremely thankful for the word of God which corrected me, pointed me to the truth and helped me seek God for restoration and forgiveness!I live to share the love and truth of Christ. As a Christian I treat homosexuals with love and kindness just as I treat anyone else. But I will not paint the picture pretty to say the sin of homosexuality itself is acceptable. ……….. As a matter of fact, no sin is acceptable and we all need to repent and be forgiven by Jesus. “Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:11) …… “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)

In the end we will all stand …

before the Judgment seat of Christ. And we will each stand ALONE; having to give an account for our lives. I refuse to waiver from the truth of God and give into the ways of the world. I choose to speak the truth in love as Jesus did. “Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.  Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.” (Ephesians 4:15-16)
