Philip Wagner

My name is Philip. I am the Lead Pastor of Oasis Church in Los Angeles. My wife, Holly, and I started the church over 29 years ago with 10 people in a Beverly Hills home Bible Study.

I like to write about things that I am passionate about which include leadership, church planting, personal faith, building great relationshipsand social justice issues.

The clean water crisis and helping widows and orphans around the world is a massive part of my mission in life.

In 2008 I founded Generosity Water, a non-profit organization committed to bringing solutions to the clean water crisis. We have funded approximately 500 wells in 19 different countries, bringing clean water and hope to over 250,000 people. My son, Jordan Wagner, is the CEO and leads Generosity Water.

I have been married to Holly for over 29 years, and we have two grown kids – Jordan and Paris.

My goal is to blog about things that will cause you to think and feel the inspiration to flourish in your life … to discover your “True North” and to rediscover the joy of living. If you want to make a difference in the world – or just make a difference in your world – then this blog is for you.

I usually post twice a week. To make sure you don’t miss my newest posts, you can subscribe via RSS or email, follow me on Twitter@PhilipWagnerLA, or download the PhilipWagner App.

I speak at churches and conferences and love to speak on living with genuine faith – the kind of faith that is authentic and fulfilling- the kind of faith that requires an understanding of God’s grace. I often speak on marriage and relationships, and leadership lessons learned from a multi-cultural church in Hollywood.
