My name is Maria and I’m an inspirational writer and speaker. My passion is sharing the truth of God’s Word with our generation.
I was bitten by the writing bug when I was in junior high and was chosen to be on the staff of our school newspaper.
I continued crafting stories and term papers during college, not giving much consideration to my professors’ comments to pursue a career in writing. At the time, my focus was on health, and I earned a degree in Corporate Wellness.
I left the corporate world years ago, and once again turned to writing.
Today, I still put the right emphasis on physical health, but I understand that spiritual health is most important.
I’ve developed an appreciation for the parallels found between the physical and spiritual realms, and often use analogies that showcase the similarities.
Blogging & Beyond
You can read my latest posts on my blog.
Many of my faith-based articles have been published in magazines and e-zines. To read more of them, I invite you to head over to my Virtual Bookshelf.
Recently, I was encouraged to record my devotionals, and the Life Lessons video series was born. You can watch them here.
I have to admit, family and pets are often my inspiration for posts and speaking engagements! If you’re interested in having me speak for your event, head over to the Speaking Engagements page.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy:
- spending time with family
- playing the piano
- shoe shopping!
A Michigan girl by birth, I now make my home in sunny Georgia, with my husband Steve, daughter Riley, and our two dogs and kitty cat.
Keep in Touch
I’d like to share one of my favorite Bible verses as a means of encouraging you: “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass,” (Psalm 37:5; KJV). It’s wonderful to know that when we entrust everything to the Lord’s control and guidance, He will provide exactly what we need.
I hope my website inspires and challenges you to develop a deeper relationship with the God who created you. If it does, please send me an email. I’d love to hear from you!
