Chris Surber

I am Chris Surber. I am a Pilgrim Pastor on the journey of faith.

I have been engaged with Christian outreach and evangelism from the very start of my faith journey. After God grabbed hold of me at the age of 16 I started preaching on the streets of Modesto, California. My passion for sharing the love of Christ has taken many forms over the years from leading chapel services in nursing homes to preaching the Gospel in rescue missions to leading local churches to turn the walls of the church inside out.

Today my family and I are answering the call on our lives in Haiti where we are sharing the love of Christ and the power of the Gospel through our ministry Supply and Multiply. I have a B.S., M.A., and M.Div. from Liberty University and a D.Min. from Tennessee Temple University.

I am a Husband, a Father, a Pastor, a Missionary, and a Christian writer. My passion is to reflect the love and beauty of Christ to nations, starting in my own backyard going to wherever Christ leads. The Christian life is about strapping on your sandals, picking up your walking stick, and following after the Master of Mercy – Jesus Christ! The blog:

Global Evangelism and Missions with Chris Surber is where I chronicle experiences and insights from the missionary journey. Here, I discuss matters dealing with the call of followers of Christ to go into their own Judea, Samaria, and unto the ends of the earth.

My context for Global Evangelism is Haiti. My writing reflects my experiences as a Pastor in local churches in America and insights gained from my family life heavily engaged in local outreach and family integrated missions and evangelism.
