Hi, I’m Deidra. I’m a wife, mother, author, and blogger. I write about life from the middle–of the country, of His grace, of my mess.
This is the place I hash it all out–my faith, my feelings, my hopes, my fears, my failures, my dreams, my doubts–and I hope you’ll join me. I know what it’s like to struggle. I know what it’s like to fall. I know what it’s like to get back up time and time again. I know what it’s like to need grace, and I know what it’s like to find it.
We all come from the same dirt, travel the same roads of life. And sometimes we get weary. Sometimes we need a helping hand. Sometimes we need encouragement. Sometimes we need hope. And that’s what I pray you’ll find here–a sense of camaraderie and compassion and trust–a place you can be yourself, a place you can find the strength you need to try once more, a place you can find Jesus.
Married for 17 years, Deidra has three children–a son and identical twin daughters–and two cairn terriers, Clementine and Tex. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and is in recovery from depression and eating disorder
