Overcoming Past Hurt

“May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” Ephesians 3:19 NLT.

Do you struggle with overcoming wounds from your past?

Overcoming past hurts is not only the path to your own freedom, it becomes a bridge of breakthrough for others who struggle in the same areas. We can all hurt in areas of rejection, loneliness, disappointment, fear, and insecurity. If you focus on your own neediness, you will never get out of the pit of self-pity. The key to overcoming past hurts is to receive the fullness of God’s love in our lives. His love is what propels us to forgive others. His love is what equips us to help others.
