We all know that our entire world has become infatuated with trying to pack more activity, more business and busyness into the same 24 hour day we have shared from the very beginning. The rest button, the pause button . . . the restart button has been bypassed by a “do more, get more” culture. Relationships have become an optional commodity while a winner-take-all mentality has elevated our lifestyle “pace” to unrealistic levels of “faster”.
Our Shepherd for the soul understands and holds a promise for those like you and I who stop to be renewed in His presence and to trust Him to accomplish things we could never do in our own strength. From Psalm 121 and Romans 15 we read,
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth . . . May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
I am so honored to welcome you to a renewing place reserved just for you, for your heart, for your very soul.
This is David “JB” Miller reminding you that when your spirit needs a resurrection on all those over-crammed days, including the ones when victory and fresh starts . . . are the farthest thing from your mind, you will never be a stranger at the “Life Letter Cafe”. Here at the corner of Pause Boulevard and Trust Avenue . . . waits your Shepherd Who never tires and whispers this promise . . .
. . . “I will carry you”.
