If you are in any way like me, you have more than once in life made the statement . . . or at least thought the thought . . . when encountering the great and small injustices of life on earth, “That was ‘My Space'”. But it is Easter that refocuses our minds on the ultimate injustice . . . the day our sinless Lord would take “Our Space” on a cross because He loves us.
You see, it’s just about the time I am all worked up about my occupied parking spot or the long line at the grocer or gas station that I am reminded that He took “My Space” in hell so I could have a forever “My Space” in heaven. Jesus called for a reset of thought this way . . .
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” – John 14:1-3
This is David “JB” Miller reminding you that the choice is simple . . . you can push God out the way in your life while clamoring to make anything and everything go your way . . . and end up losing it all . . . or you can simply invite Jesus to be your Master Carpenter . . . Who is more than able to build your forever life . . . your forever home . . . your forever future.
Thank you Lord for the empty tomb which gives me this undeniable hope . . . of being by Your side forever . . . because You first willingly bled and died . . .
. . . in “My Space”.
